The day of 15 August 1947 symbolizes centuries of struggle, sacrifice and determination of the Indian freedom fighters. With this spirit, 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour in Nation Public School Aurangabad. The day began with the lighting of the lamp. The flag was hoisted by the founder of the school Mr. Kailash Kumar Aggarwal, Chairman Advocate Ankur Aggarwal, Chairperson Mrs. Priya Aggarwal and Principal Dr. SK Singh. The students sang the national anthem in honor of the flag. In this atmosphere of patriotism, the NCC students of the school performed a spectacular parade and filled the students with deep honour and respect for their motherland.Apart from this, other programs like patriotic dance and music programs were also presented in which the students displayed their talents.
Respected Principal sir addressed the gathering by motivating the students to follow nationalistic spirit and take pride in being an Indian and fulfil one’s duty with responsibility. He also emphasized on the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country.
Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
